We completed a 4 week one to one hypnobirthing course with Emma and it was absolutely brilliant. I learned so much about the process and more about myself. We discussed relaxation techniques and built the confidence to question things I would never have previously. My husband also enjoyed the course and we feel ready as a team to try and achieve the birth we want. I can't recommend Emma enough - she's such a lovely woman with lots of experience and I'm so glad we chose her course in the end 🙂

Really enjoyed Emma’s hypnobirthing course, done from the comfort of our own home and she was so accommodating with times that suited us. We felt totally ill informed prior to starting the course but now after completing the fourth session feel much more prepared for the birth of our baby; would definitely recommend to any mums or parents to be who are wanting to practice calming and relaxing techniques to prepare them for labour, it has definitely helped to calm our nerves!

I completed the "love your birth hypnobirthing" course with my husband Phil. We are first time parents.

Highly recommend this course and will tell anyone who will listen to try hypnobirthing. I felt the course really helped my husband feel more involved and made sure he was going into the process with his eyes open. The practice itself brings with it a calm and focused mindset for labour. This allowed us to welcome our daughter into a peaceful environment and ensured informed decision making labour re mother and babies care throughout.

Emma is passionate teacher who delivers an informative and immersive course while having the craic and sharing her own experiences and tips and tricks which really help.

Book the course, you won't regret it!

Thanks Emma!!

“Doing this course with Emma ,really helped as first time parents to be .
Through doing the course I became more informed and confident .
The techniques and the visualisations of hypnobirthing really helped me during my labour, as I was able to remain calm and make and decide on informed choices throughout.
We now have a healthy 7 pound 10 baby girl and we couldn't be happier .
Would definitely recommend Emma and this course x”

“I took took the Loveyourbirth course at the beginning of my second trimester and it is my first pregnancy. I had heard a few things about hypnobirthing in the past but didn’t realise how completely empowering it is. You can take away different aspects to suit the birth you want and the course covers relaxation and the various choices that are yours to make throughout your prenatal care. Probably the biggest takeaway for me was just how much choice you have as an expectant mother and that you are in control of your care. Being my first pregnancy, I didn’t know very much about labour or what to expect; without scaring me or giving me any horror stories, the course has given me the tools and information to make choices and, importantly, remain calm throughout! The relaxation element is great and uses a lot of positivity which is so important in pregnancy and life generally. Quite a lot of the tools Emma teaches you through the method can be adopted throughout life and not just pregnancy.
Emma is a great teacher and having experienced both a non-hypnobirth and a hypnobirth herself she adds personal experience which is reassuring to hear. The course really lends itself to the online format via zoom- I got to sit under a blanket on my sofa and listen to Emma do guided relaxations, you can’t get more comforting than that! Even the dog fell asleep! It’s good to be able to do the course from home during current times and I still got to meet and listen to the experience of another mum in the class.
If you are anxious in pregnancy or someone who likes to arm themselves with balanced information then I would highly recommend a KG hypnobirthing course with Loveyourbirth.”

“I came to Emma at 32 weeks pregnant knowing very little about hypnobirthing but still being a little skeptical. I’m now 36 weeks pregnant and have finished the course and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. This is my first pregnancy and before doing the course I was filled with worry and wondering how I would cope with childbirth. However, I was willing to try anything that could potentially help calm my nerves and provide me with coping mechanisms.

Emma is a fantastic hypnobirthing teacher and myself and my partner found the course very enjoyable and well worth the time.

I feel so much more confident in myself and my body that I’m actually looking forward to giving birth. My whole mindset has changed since completing the course and I no longer think of pain, fear and trauma when it comes to giving birth. I fully believe and trust that my body will guide me through the process and even if things don’t “go to plan”, I will be able to respond in a way that keeps me relaxed.

I’m excited for the next few weeks ahead and I can’t wait for the birth of my baby and to use the techniques that Emma has taught me.”

“I found myself in my second pregnancy, expecting my 3rd son (I had twins in 2015) and facing my first natural labour (the boys were born via a planned section at 36 weeks and I hadn't even experienced any Braxton Hicks!). I knew I wanted to try for a VBac but didn't feel very prepared especially as the pregnancy had mainly taken place under the uncertainty of Covid.

At 36 weeks I was trying to get prepared and had heard a little about hypnobirthing and been encouraged by a few to try it. I didn't really know what it was but I wanted to know I'd tried to get prepared to the best of my ability.

I reached out to Emma and from the start she was very friendly, helpful and accommodating as I'd left it rather late to fit all the classes in.

We had 4 classes in total on a 121 basis with Emma me and my husband. It was very helpful to have someone to talk to about all the aspects of birth and be prompted to consider additional questions or options in advance. We used the relaxation techniques while going to sleep and started practicing some of the breathing techniques as well.

At 37 week when I went for a regular check up my appointment took a u turn when they thought the baby was small and wanted to book me for induction.

The classes I'd had so far were immediately beneficial as I was in a better position to question the reasons and not be pressured into a course of action I didn't understand or want. By insisting that I only wanted intervention if it was truly necessary I was afforded more time to let my baby come on his own, as everything else was indicating that everything was fine.

With the birth potentially more immanent Emma was more than happy to be flexible and fit the classes in more quickly.

We managed to progress safely to 39 weeks and Eli decided he was ready to come the day after a sweep and a morning spent at the beach listening to waves, birds and practicing my relaxations and breathing.

While in labour I felt comfortable and empowered to question information and interventions suggested for us in a way I don't believe I would have were it not for taking the course. Although it was necessary to have some interventions eg the sweep, my waters being broken and Eli's final progress assisted by a suction cup as the cord was around his neck, these were all done with my informed consent as I ask the reasons for them until I understood, therefore making it a process that I was actively participating in and ultimately in control of.

So i have my lovely baby Eli and we successfully completed our VBAC and I have a birth experience which I can remember with contentment thank you Emma for your part in making this happen.”

“Really enjoyed working with Emma ahead of the birth of our little one. Emma is great at what she does and the 1-to-1 course was definitely worth the money. We felt well informed and confident going into labour. Thank you!”

“I heard about Emma’s Hypnobirthing very late on in my pregnancy. She was great at fitting us in and getting as much information and sessions in a short period of time.

I found the sessions so helpful to my birthing experience and in preparing my partner and I in what to expect.

I would highly recommend this to everyone who is expecting. I did the one on one sessions and found it extremely beneficial.”
